Our client is seeking talented Business Analysts with expertise in life insurance and core policy administration to assist with crucial process documentation. This role is pivotal in gathering business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders across various insurance departments to develop a comprehensive insurance reference architecture and service catalogue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage closely with business stakeholders to gather insights and develop an insurance service catalogue, documenting the AS-IS insurance process architecture, process models, and controls.

  • Documentation Excellence: Create clear, concise documents detailing process steps and requirements, such as user stories, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), or functional specifications for core insurance processes, including New Business & Policy Setup, Policy Owned Services, Claims, and Billing & Collection.

  • Standards Familiarity: Leverage your knowledge of insurance standards, such as ACCORD or IBM Insurance Reference Architecture, to inform your work.

  • Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and data dictionaries.

  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Analyze existing processes to identify gaps, pain points, and areas for enhancement, driving efficiency in insurance operations.

  • Project Updates & Communication: Provide regular project status updates, clearly communicate requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Insurance Process Expertise: Solid experience in insurance process engineering and transformation projects.

  • Core Processes Understanding: Strong grasp of various core insurance processes, including New Business & Policy Setup, Policy Owned Services, Claims, and Billing & Collection.

  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with project tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Redmine) and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma).

  • Reference Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of Insurance Reference Architectures, such as ACCORD.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills.

  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in both English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities include:

Benefits & Wellbeing Administration:
