Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

I have a new role for a cybersecurity platform engineer with a financial services client of mine based in Galway. This role will fall within the application/infrastructure security team.

Skills required:

• Experience in automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of application security (e.g., Pen Testing, SCA, SAST, DAST) and API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Cloud experience and data skills

• Develop and maintain security tools for CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Evaluate and leverage technologies to eliminate application vulnerabilities.

This is a permanent role with one of my financial services clients based in Galway. 

Expertise Required:

• 5+ years in systems engineering, including experience with contact center platforms like Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, or Amazon Connect.

I am working with a financial services client based in Galway and they're looking for a senior platform engineer to join their team. The selected candidate will have extensive experience in voice/telephony area. This role is a hybrid role in a growing team.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in voice/telephony.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), software design, development, testing, and automation.
• Understanding enterprise-scale platform architecture for high availability and continuity.
• Familiar with data communication protocols (HTTP, SIP, TLS/SSL, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, RDP, SDP).
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy, Ansible).
• Experience with Linux OS management, VoIP, SIP, and data applications/networking.
• Softphone software installs, system backups, and reboots.

I'm working with one of my financial services clients based in Galway, and they're looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Software Engineer/Tech Lead to join their team. This will be a permanent role falling within the application security platform team.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in designing and developing enterprise applications (Java/Python/Go, Spring, Angular) with tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins, AWS).
• Experience with scalable applications on Kubernetes or similar.
• Leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience.
• AWS certification and cloud environment experience preferred.
• Application security experience (Pen Testing, SCA, SAST, DAST, WAF) is a plus.
• Experience with unit and functional testing (JUnit, PyUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Karate, Cypress).
• Hands-on experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile (Scrum) environment experience.

• AWS certification preferred and have working experience with cloud environments.
• Hands on experience with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline).
• Any application security experience, including Pen Testing, Static Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) would be considered a plus.
• Experience with data processes, including but not limited to ETL, ELT, Data Modeling, and proficiency with BI tools like PowerBi, Tableau, or similar, as well as Oracle or equivalent RDBMS, is also advantageous.

• You possess strong engineering skills and have experience deploying maintainable, scalable multi-tiered applications.
