Responsibilities
- Integration Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the integration strategy, focusing on assessing the impact on daily operations, clients, and overall business performance.
- Business Focus: Shift the focus from purely technological aspects to comprehensively evaluating the business implications of the integration. Identify core and non-core business functions and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize efforts accordingly.
- Leadership and Management: Oversee a multidisciplinary team and provide strategic direction to ensure seamless cutover and integration.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and senior management, to align integration efforts with organizational objectives and ensure a smooth transition process.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize various business processes across the entire life and health insurance spectrum, including underwriting, claims, operations, etc., to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Industry Best Practices: Implement industry-standard practices and methodologies, leveraging your expertise to drive successful integration outcomes while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that the integration aligns with operational excellence principles and standards, focusing on enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk management.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in senior project management roles, with a focus on business integration within the life and health insurance industry.
- Previous experience in management roles within Operations or Transformation, particularly in large life and health insurance companies, is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of life and health insurance operations, processes, and industry regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
