Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary.
- Guide the team in adopting Agile best practices and principles, promoting continuous improvement and learning.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Monitor and track team progress, ensuring that sprint commitments are met and that deliverables are of high quality.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Shield the team from external distractions and influences, allowing them to focus on their work and deliver value.
- Champion a culture of transparency, trust, and accountability within the team and across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with the ability to apply them in a practical context.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is as permanent, full-time role based in Singapore.
