Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities within the construction and facilities sectors
- Generate and qualify leads using various methods, including networking, events, outreach, and digital marketing
- Cultivate a deep understanding of client needs and challenges, driving solutions and value-based discussions
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with contract management and commercial teams to craft innovative project solutions
- Prepare tender documentation, presentations, and prequalification materials
- Facilitate post-tender debriefs to refine future strategies
- Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms for McKeon Group
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the construction services industry
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish construction market and its key players
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with both clients and colleagues
- Results-driven, highly organized, and self-motivated with a focus on quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design software
- A valid Irish driving license is preferred
