We are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for designing and creating technical solutions based on professional requirements within asset system landscape. Your role involves developing new and optimizing existing solutions, as well as automating data processes to enhance efficiency.
You will implement data automation using ETL/ELT processes, develop technical specifications for standardized data integrations, and manage the data warehouse. Additionally, you will oversee the technical structure of assets, including data classification and modeling in collaboration with experts. Your work will involve using web services (SOAP and REST) and SQL databases, as well as designing and creating custom BI reports in Tableau.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training, and several years of experience in data management with ETL/ELT processes (FME or Python preferred). Proficiency in data modeling and visualization/reporting tools (Tableau preferred) is essential. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills are a must. Fluency in German with excellent English skills is required. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, communicative, highly organized, and have a strong focus on quality.
