Once you have accepted your offer, we will start the compliance and onboarding process. The majority of our clients dictate the type of compliance we undertake, and this will be explained to you in our initial Pre-Employment Screening (PES) email, however as a minimum the following will be required;
- Right to work check – we will need to verify the original document
- 2 references
- Verification of your engagement model
Engagement models
We will work with you via your own UK Limited Company or via an umbrella company, we do not run our own payroll. Please note that some of our clients will nor engage with you via a Limited Company and will provide a list of umbrella companies that you can chose between. If this is relevant to your role it will be made clear in the PES email.
Verified umbrella companies
We will only work with umbrella companies that are FCSA accredited and have a preferred supplier list that will be shared with you in the PES email.
Once we have verified your engagement model, we will issue a Key Information Document (KID) and then a contract. The KID will provide you with an idea of what you can expect to take home after relevant tax.
Client specific compliance
Some of the additional compliance that clients require include;
- Credit checks
- DBS checks
- Further referencing – up to 10 years
- Completion of specific documents – such as Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Code of Conduct
SLA
We have an eight day SLA from sending your PES email to completing your compliance, however, sometimes delays occur that are outside our control. We will keep you updated throughout the process and may require alternative evidence and documentation from you to ensure you are cleared in time.
Sometimes the process can seem long and frustrating and we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.
