It has come to our attention that some individuals who have no affiliation with our company have been engaging in fraudulent activities, misleading the public in Switzerland through unauthorized messages on WhatsApp and Telegram. We are actively investigating these incidents and will pursue legal action against those responsible. Meanwhile, we would like to address these unfortunate incidents and provide you with important information to protect yourselves from potential scams.

Incident Details

In recent instances, individuals falsely claiming to represent Nicoll Curtin have been contacting the public through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram. They have been falsely offering job opportunities in Switzerland, often using the names of our employees in an attempt to appear legitimate.

We want to emphasise that Nicoll Curtin will never initiate contact with you through WhatsApp or Telegram as the initial point of communication regarding job opportunities or any other matters. Furthermore, it has come to our attention that some of these fraudulent messages originate from locations such as, Nigeria, Tunisia, Malaysia, Philippines, Laos and Chile. Please note that our company only contacts individuals from locations where we have established offices.

 

How to Verify Legitimate Communication

If you receive any communication that you suspect may not be legitimate, we urge you to take the following steps:

1.      Do not provide personal or financial information.

2.      Verify the authenticity of the communication by contacting us directly through our official channels.

3.      Contact us immediately if you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a message you receive.

4.      Be aware that similar fraudulent activities may target other recruitment companies as well. Always exercise caution and vigilance.
