25 years of innovation: The Nicoll Curtin journey

Commemorating 25 years of excellence at Nicoll Curtin, reflecting a strong reputation and industry leadership.

The Nicoll Curtin Group celebrated its 25th anniversary throughout 2024. This is a remarkable story of global expansion and success, as the company began as a UK business in 1999 and now boasts seven offices worldwide, including locations in Europe and the APAC regions.

Nicoll Curtin’s COO, Dragana Atanasov, was recently featured in BIZLife magazine, discussing Nicoll Curtin’s 25th anniversary. The article highlights Nicoll Curtin’s expansion into new markets with a particular focus on the crucial role of the operations and sales support office in Serbia in fostering this growth.

“Since its opening in 2019, the Serbia office has grown significantly. Initially established to provide administrative and sales support to our Switzerland office, it now collaborates with the entire Group and proudly contributes to 40% of global sales revenue. Our team in Serbia has made a considerable impact in streamlining our processes and boosting revenue, which is one of the reasons we’ve been able to scale globally so very quickly.”

As part of our anniversary celebrations, we have focused on a series of initiatives that reflect our ongoing dedication to growth and excellence.

"We’ve prioritised learning and development, technology upgrades, and employee wellbeing, with staff satisfaction consistently over 95%. We’ve also broadened our services to our customers with salary guides, market reports, and events with industry experts while deepening our dedication to ESG”, said our COO.

As a milestone in 2024, we collaborated with a specialist third-party partner to conduct our first Carbon Footprint Measurement. This assessment enabled us to establish both short-term and long-term commitments, as well as science-based targets to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Atanasov emphasises that a strong focus on nurturing talent has been a key aspect of Nicoll Curtin's culture throughout its 25-year history. She herself joined the company as a trainee 10 years ago. This focus has been crucial for all teams to achieve the success they have.

“Developing people is at the core of what we do. At Nicoll Curtin, we are proud that 75% of our team members progress from junior roles within the first six months. This allows them to shape their careers in the direction of their choice, with support every step of the way.”

As Nicoll Curtin Group enters its next quarter-century, we will remain committed to serving our customers with excellence while expanding our global footprint. We will consistently adapt to the evolving skills and regulatory landscapes of new and existing markets while prioritising quality over quantity.

We will also continue our existing sustainability and charitable initiatives as well as invest in our team's growth through global learning opportunities.
